wondered how long it would take this debate to reach pprune. I fall into the catagory of been there, did it, passed it, ditched it...on recommendation of several friends WITHIN Easy. I was drawn to them by their spin thinking there was something different on offer. I think this is correct in many respects until it comes to Flight OPs. A quote from within.."they couldn't run a bath". It's beginning to show. They display the dinosaur traits all too common in this industry and their arrogance defies belief. They got big problems at the moment..just ask the troops. Punctuality is poor, sickness through the roof, morale low, major rostering problems...seems to have got much worse since they announced the Go merger.
As for their recruitment, perhaps JL would like to come back down to this planet. She obviously got lost trying to find Cranebank and ended up in Luton instead. Or perhaps it's her inability to spell that foiled her plans for world domination. You'll know this if you ever get an e-mail from her. Whoever penned this latest diatribe of nonsense clearly has no comprehension of this industry. Easyjet have nothing more to offer than any other sub 200 seat carrier in the UK. Perhaps when the pension doubles or becomes final salary, the rosters stabilise and Flt OPs retires to Jurassic Park then they will have something to talk about. Until then lets face it - soon they'll be short of crew and by then there'll be nobody left who hasn't failed their selection or knocked them back once before.
