I don't know If you have managed to fix the virus but for what it's worth my free edition of AVG anti virus from
Grisoft picked it up in an e-mail I received recently.
The instructions on the Norton site (The link that mutt published) are not as complicated as they first seem. It may be worth having another go.

To obtain and run the tool). It's probably worth printing out first, then clicking the links that are shown in the document.
