Jetstar is recruiting to First Officer positions and may be advertising new Command positions over the course of 2010. The selection criteria for Jetstar First Officer positions can be found at www.jetstar.com. The selection criteria for Jetstar Command vacancies will be published at the time that the Command vacancy concerned is advertised. Anyone interested in one of these opportunities, will need to be familiar with the terms of the Qantas/Jetstar MOU......

Qantas and Jetstar have agreed on a set of arrangements to facilitate the processing of applications by Qantas pilots under the MOU for vacancies that might arise in Jetstar over the remainder of 2010.....

Jetstar & Qantas will use the established ‘letter of preference system’ to maintain a list of pilots who want to be considered for vacancies arising in Jetstar under the MOU. Letters of preference should indicate whether you are interested in a First Officer or a Command vacancy and the initial bases that you would accept a position in. The preference list will be made available to Jetstar and as vacancies arise for Qantas pilots covered by the MOU, Jetstar will consider applicants who have registered a preference. The lists will also be used to allow Qantas to filter the applicants for MOU coverage and to assist Jetstar in planning its recruitment.......
