Sounds like a bit of an ar$e to me
I've rarely flown with a pilot as a passenger but when I have they had the good grace not to be critical of my standards / methods
Good luck with future passengers. Try doing what I do, take a 4 year old flying with you. They just enjoy the various sensations of flying
