Having digested what you posted I believe WW is correct when he says that CC would have approved had they been given the opportunity. Twice now BASSA/Unite have refused to put a company offer to their members, why?
Woodley's rant yesterday seemed to be about future pay rises. Well, ask the employees of any FTSE100 company have they had a committment from their employer regarding an uplift in pay anytime soon. The answer most probably will be NO. BA has taken a calculated risk that it will be in a position to offer any increases beyond the second year of the pay freeze.
I am proud of all the staff who have reported for work today, well done!!! It is a tragedy that you have been so badly led by your TU. Time to throw the rascals out on their ear when this is all over!
