Now if you want a really good laugh have a read of the recent bullsh!te ‘merger’ update letter that's being put to the staff (of both companies) about the buyout of Go by Easy.
Indeed I saw a copy of it yesterday, and talk about BS and fluff – somebody quite obviously thinks that they’re addressing naive children, who are gonna swallow it hook, line, and sphincter ! <-- not a typo …… t’was nothing more than ”rah rah rah we’re still one team, rah rah rah, go easy go, rah rah rah …….. “
Indeed a more serious issue, which is lightly glossed over, includes, and get this, all ( yes ALL ) the office based staff of both companies are apparently having to re-apply for their jobs, the point being that if you've been quite happily doing your job at eJ but a 'better qualified' person from Go is available you will be made redundant from eJ - nice huh ?!
With regards to the pre/post sale share issues to the Go staff, due to the way that this is being allocated it cannot now be readily offset against tax so many of the Go staff will lose a large amount of the yield on those shares to HM Revenue, i.e. it’s rather a shame the shares were not granted to them when Go was worth stuff-all so that any tax could have then been paid on the value of any shares as linked to a company that wasn’t worth anything – whereas now ?!
And all this comes from two companies that supposedly pride themselves on their 'people skills' though it would seem that theirs ‘caring’ is only surpassed by the BS that emanates from the Ryans in as much that, using the Go parlance of, being ‘Open & Honest’ one feels very inclined to say “*******!”
Please note that, I couldn't give a toss about any of the low cost operators, except to say that we're looking to pick-up a few of the very best of both companies disgruntled flight crew - many of whom have already been to visit us !
