Agreed - "sensibly" hasn't been a feature, by some perspectives. However, my reading [between those few lines] is that Mr Woodley [under pressure from No 10] is now in charge of negotiations. And that Unite has effectively been 'told' to sort it out.
I won't presume to second-guess what Mr Walsh will think/say/do - because BA has already incurred substantial additional costs in covering for the strike. And that's going to come out of someone's hide.
Next 24 hours will be fascinating.
