I apologise, but I have to comment on this section from the BASSA Press Statement:
We have absolutely no wish to cause any disruption to British Airways and more importantly for our customers.
  1. Apart from calling the CC out on strike, of course, which [notionally] prevents BA from operating. No disruption there, then?
  2. I have no recollection of customers ever being mentioned by BASSA previously. Perhaps they've all gone away, as forward bookings imply? Those that remain WILL be disrupted, despite BA's best efforts.

Am I unfair in suggesting that this is "standard Union phraseology" with no substance whatsoever? The Union appears to be determined to cause the MAXIMUM disruption to both the Company and the passengers, in order to assert its dominance over the workplace, the company, the investors and indeed anyone else who disagrees with their interpretation of facts.

I am so sorry for all the good people mired in this farce.
