This is a time for calm and careful action. What would be the point of BA behaving in the vengeful manner that you suggest? IMHO it would further alienate an already fearful and angry CC. (Even though their reps are largely responsible for this state!) In addition BA now hold ALL the levers of power and clearly will use them to obtain the necessary savings WITHOUT causing the damage that your advocated actions would precipitate.
