You get paid for ground school if you complete it successfully, though no overnight/meal allowance in melb for training (they pay for your flights down & accomm) lots and lots of study pass mark 80% no time for partying or stuffing around. No one has their rosters yet but we nominated available days for end of March and all of April on our first day. Word in the crew room is that there will be plenty of work available if you want it which is good. Dont bother applying if you have holidays planned from now till may that are longer than 1-2 weeks because at ground school you will get told to go home.
