The wheels are starting to come off the wagon! More and more crew are starting to express doubts about the outcome. Acceptance of New Fleet, Single Supervisory Grade and, dare I say it, total defeat is starting to rear it's head in the most militant of places. Suddenly the scales have been lifted from the eyes of crew, they are noting that there was no negotiation at ACAS, that if the union aren't striking there must be something wrong, and that Walsh is setting them up for, and I quote, "a huge fall". Only the most ostrich-like continue to run around spouting the BASSA line, desperately trying to shore up the collapsing support with mealy-mouthed platitudes that we must trust the reps, and they must be given just a little more time to hammer home the deal that nails Walsh. Evidently 14 months isn't long enough for BASSA to negotiate.
