BA is constantly dealing with this mentality - crew thinking the company owe them something - and not the other way around. BA should give, give and give but get nothing in return.

At yesterday's meeting there were interesting questions asked about the legality of being sacked for withdrawing one's labour and what would happen to staff travel - BASSA's well thought out answer was -

Mr. McCluskey was also talking about
casualities as there cannot be a deal without them. I doubt Miss Malone - she did admit standing on the picket line in 1997 - or any of the other so called reps would be one of those casualities.
