Hmmm....

I thought about doing this course but only up to the PPL part. I remember when I visited there open day they gave me a sheet which explained the finances and the brake down of costs - You are expected to pay the flight training on certain dates and it is spread out (a little) I remember that it looked like to do the PPL it would cost me around £10-12k! Also looking at the uni league tables they were almost at the bottom!

At the open day I seem to remember them having cabair people there....

A student loan is possible however this would only cover living costs (ish bucks was the most expensive uni to live at when I looked into it this time last year) and also the fees to cover the pilot studies part of the course NOT the flight training - Of course this is to be expected.

I ended up turning down the place and working for 2 years which will fund my PPL and give me enough money to go through uni to become a teacher.

If you want to see where Bucks is in the league table check out the link here.
