This talk of 95 hour rosters and desperate HR phone calls makes me wonder why Unpaid Leave is still on the table.
The TRI formerly known as Tartan Guy signed up for 9 days of Unpaid Leave in February then strung it out with 10 XXs giving him a straight 19 days off. Nice work if you can get it I guess.
But… just how unpaid is unpaid? He’s still on the training roster. Could he be drawing a full training salary in February for working a string of just 11 days?
Surely his good buddy ‘Captain’ Ed wouldn’t ‘rubberstamp’ that.
