I like this quote.
Our issues and complaints are legitimate. Our actions and challenges are legal and our cause is just - yet we remain demonised by the public at
large. Even in the eyes of many of our own colleagues, (some of whom have
been deliberately whipped up into a state of hysteria), sadly, many seem
to actually be enjoying it. They seem oblivious to the fact that when
their turn comes, and it will, they will be on their own. Nobody will lend
them a helping hand.
I have news for BASSA/UNITE.
The turn of 'others' has come and gone.
Nobody spoke up for us either-particularly UNITE/AMICUS.
Our issues and complaints seemed legitimate too, we also felt intimidated by our employer but again no-one stood up for us.
The world has changed, as has the industry. Take a good look around you with open eyes, BA is a shell of it's former self.
So, if some appear to be
whipped up into a state of hysteria it is because they have long memories.
