The images were said to have been subsequently replaced by an image of a hot air balloon inscribed with the words 'hot air'.
The site contained postings of the word 'poo' in lettering made to look like faeces, claim the moderates, who also received threatening emails saying: 'We know who you are.'

Documents sent to the Daily Mail state that the lookalike's internet address was registered in the name of BASSA activist Mark Everard.
