Q400 for F50's and the C-Series to replace the RJ's?
Seems like an usual replacement plan on the face of it, they must be predicting a decent growth in passenger numbers on the VLM routes as they'd be moving from a 58 seat F50 aircraft to a 78 seat Q400. Multiply this across the fleet and that's quite a ramp up in ASK's.
I thought the F50's only had 50 seats??.
If the F50's only have 50 seats replacing them with the Q400 would be a 50%+ increase in seats. Wouldn't the 50 seater Q300 or the new 46 seater ATR42-600 be a better replacement for the F50's and the Scotairways D328's.
With one of Air France'sother regional airlines and KLM Cityhopper adding E-jets maybe they would be a better replacement for the RJ85's
