In my experience people usually slag off anyone or anything when they see it as a threat, though what the threat would be in this particular case when there's room for both Airlines is beyond me
And before anybody jumps on the lack of autoland capability for some Jet2 a/c at LBA, it's hardly a big disadvantage is it? With alternates at MAN or DSA (which on a clear day you can practically see from the top of the LBA hill
) the inconvenience caused by any divert must, relatively speaking, be minimal.
