Glad to hear that I am not the only one!
Have been using Chrome for six months or so and very pleased with it...until now.
Have been getting the same messages as you and just thought that my PC (running Win7) was getting clogged up. Did all the usual stuff but problem still remains. Even tried using Safari - but still getting used to the learning curve!
Will watch this space for a solution as the interweb (Google) seems to offer nothing...yet!
