Chrome's OK and opens like lightening, but I've also started using Opera
Opera browser | Faster & safer internet | Free download I've done a very crude test and found that Opera seems to load pages slightly faster than other browsers ie PPRUNE loads in 2 seconds on Opera; 2.5 to 3 seconds in Chrome, and 4 seconds in IE. It may also depend on broadband speeds, computer set-up, advertising, etc. Unfortunately Opera takes longer to open than Chrome - you just can't win! Also try Firefox! It would be a good exercise if PPruners reported page loading speeds to get a good sample/consensus of the fastest browser.
