While you are rooting around in Sprogget's toolbox, I understand the CD drive shows no 'yellow'? Can you play ANY CDs in it, eg music? If not 'there', Google for 'CD Drive not seen XP' or 'missing'

While we are there, XP what (Home/Pro, SP?)
