Hi all knowledgeable peeps,
I have a old laptop which i have reformatted the harddrive and re-installed XP on for my 3 year old to watch the cbeebies iplayer.
XP installed after a couple of attempts using the original restore disc, and its is up and running now. I have tried to install all the drivers using the supplied disc but the cd drive will not read the the disc. It has a go at it but wont start . I used 'my computer' to look at the D: drive but nothing is contained within it, even though the disc is in the drive, and it is trying to read the disc.
This is my first attempt at a re-install so forgive me if this is a stuipid question.
