I think it must have been me. You know, like saying, 'How long have you had that mustache?' and your lifelong friend says. 'Oh, about 25 years.' But I suppose if one's friend's head suddenly got smaller, leaving the mustache the same size, One would notice.
I confess, as analogies go, that was a bit contrived.
