This thread reminds me of a
photo I came across some time ago of an Aer Lingus 747-200 taking off at Edinburgh on a rugby weekend. That there tail is pretty close to the ground!
There are several pictures of 747s at Edinburgh available at airliners.net so it can't be that unusual.
