Flight Following
Surely not the first time this topic is posted, sorry.

Flying with flight following (US airspace), final destination a class "D" airport.

When the last ATC ask me to switch to the K*** tower (destination airport), is this tower aware of who I am, what my position is and that I'm inbound to land, or do I have to start with the 4 "W" at the first contact with the tower ?
