1] I think you will find that there were 5 Braniff Concorde flight deck crews trained which equates to 10 pilots and 5 F/E who in Braniff's case were actually pilots. Three crews were trained at Toulouse and 2 crews were trained at Bristol
So that equates to 15 pilots rather than 40
2] No Singapore Airlines pilots were trained to fly Concorde and only G-BOAD was painted [ on it's left side ] in Singapore Airlines colours.
3]Norman Britton, usually known as the "Animal" is still around and like all of us getting older, but so I understand is still getting into trouble when ever he can.
4] As far as the joke about Concorde pilots "will always tell you" , I have found it to be the other way around with
non Concorde pilots telling people at parties that they were Concorde pilots.
5] One last point the title is either Flighter Engineer or Engineer Officer, but definately not Flight Engineer Officer. Us old boys can get quite touchy you know
