Congrats on starting what i believe to be a very rewarding career. Now to set some things straight. Firstly you will come across challenging hurdles along the way...for example the opportunity to get your first job in brisbane(unless instructing). Secondly the pay starting out is crap!! I was getting $80 a day for my first serious ga job. As you gain experience however it improves. Airlines pay from about 55k a year to about 350k a year for a380 capt (although these figures are becoming rarer). Pm if you want anymore help i know how hard it can be but honestly, having had another life in another field of work and now working for an airline you will love it!!!
