Lbalad. In answer to your question about diverts, J2 will usually go to DSA if its a fuel & go or MAN if it is a tech snag (as there are engineers available to fix it.) Crew hours will be tighter on a Canaries flight so the sensible plan is to use an engineering base so that an engineer is available to conduct a daily check if a night stop occurs. I believe the opportunity was taken to leave the TFS aircraft at MAN to provide cover for the ETOPS charter going out from MAN tomorrow.
