I too have been invited to the RD on January 5th but have decided not to go. I've agonised over it but at the end of the day it's going to cost me ginormous amounts of money to get over there for less than 2 days to a thing I may not even be successful at and which is only casual work anyways. It seems too much of a risk, and is very short notice. I hate it, but I think I need to start small in a position in my own state first before I do anything like this.
