It all depend on what is expected from these two machines. As already discussed in other topics, their performances are rapidly altered with weight/temperatures variations.
Regularly operating these two airplanes with temperatures over 25C is an economical non-sense just like a husky dogs in a camel race.

Having said that, in the appropriate environment they both offer excellent performances for money and will most probably be reliable machines. From a commercial point of view, their seat capacity/payload and comfort for money are not the best...
