In mid summer with an immediate need, I would think most HR/Chief Pilots are more interested if you are current, which applicant has the most hours on type, if the Class 1 is valid, current geographic location and when you could start.

At present when the market is flooded, they can be picky and I think most British based Chief Pilots at present would look more favourably on a UK CPL/IR because its something they can quantify and already have dealings with the CAA.

Remember one of the major factors for commercial aviation is risk and managing it.
