Balpa seeking advise from BASSA QC?
I find that a bit hard to believe...........
You're right it is hard to believe, his not just Bassa's QC, he specialises in Industrial issues so does a lot of work with many unions.

I would have thought the least BALPA could have done, would've been looking up a few European laws...don't you think so?
This is an untested piece of European law, which doesn't really apply, Bapla could not afford to test the case with a chance they may lose.

were caught by small techinicality
Balpa were caught by a technicality, Bassa was caught by a blatant disregard for the ballot process of their own making.

both unions are good unions
I'm happy with Balpa - I'll have to take your word with regards to Bassa, my personal opinion is they are a disgrace and you the hard working decent crew are in this position because of Bassa.
