BA are winning the propaganda war hands down (I particularly liked the WW image of crying grannies on the phone), but a management that has been out manouevered by its unions to the point where 82% of its cabin crew vote for a strike at one of the busiest times of the year is hardly covering itself in glory. Hard to imagine an irregularity in the ballot that would over turn that kind of majority.

And CC who expect their company to survive with crew costs twice the competition are not exactly showing a lot of smarts either.

BA (management and staff) have a business model that no longer works and have so alienated the frequent fliers on which it relied that they no longer care whether the airline survives or not. The sooner the ghost is laid to rest and something decent arises from the ashes the better.
