If you have 150 hours PIC post Cpl in a commercial environment your CPL will convert straight over (more or less) to check all the details have a look at
www.caa.govt.nz you should find all the information you need there.
As for jobs; there are alot of schools putting through large numbers of students so there are lots of pilots out looking for the elusive first job, an instructor rating could help but the the situation is much the same.
