they don't want to end up in an industry with no prospects of promotion and no fast increasing wage
If it is a problem with the company and not the industry can't they move to VS, BMI, Ryanair or whatever other airline with better T&Cs and conditions? Isn't that an option?
Do you think that BA is able to keep promoting people on current T&C and make a profit?
