There was a thread on NZ a while back, I think they were having problems with the management over pay and conditions so not unlike the rest of the world. Certainly the pay seems very good for New Zealand but not on an international scale. Apparently quite a few Kiwis have moved over the Tasman sea and to the sand pit in search of greater fortune.
