I do hope and wish Tony Hallwood well on getting Trans Atlantic services into the Yorkshire region. He did it for Bristol so hopefully he can do it again for LBA….
But i just can’t see New York coming anytime soon. Not with this bloody recession on-going. If they do manage to get a New York service with-in the next 5 years hopefully it won’t be with Jet2 but with one of the big American Airliners with a Boeing 757 type service.
Hopefully while in the process of trying to acquire a New York service they should look into reinstating charter flights to Toronto and maybe an Orlando service with the likes off say Jet2/Jet2hoildays and other charter companies like Thomas Cook and Canada affair.
