Are you saying that to "have an understanding", you just end up being another star ranked yes man, who nods everything through without a murmur? "Remember who is the boss?" What if the boss's judgement is to put it mildly, somewhat suspect and that lives may be at risk because of that suspect judgement? Dont you owe your subordinates
