I seem to recall reading somewhere on this site that one of the reasons Danny started these forums was because he and many other pilots etc were so busy down the line that they rarely had a chance to get together and chew the cud. The same applies to Sqn crewrooms (I believe they are now dead) and so this forum community allows discussion on topics which would have been aired in the crew room in previous years to be flogged to death in cyberspace. Consequently any subject (which would have been discussed in the crew room) is, in my opinion, fair game.
Mind you it does allow old bu**ers like me to get a foot in the door with my accumulated irrelevence.
