Pinky and Rv6 agree 100% with you.I believe PNG attracts only 10000 overseas tourists every year.This in place that makes Bali look like the rubbish tip it is.
Madang was still fine in the 70's RV I lived there for a year and had a ball.Having dinner water side in the old haus wind of the Madang hotel or a good p!ss up at the Smugglers.
I dont know what the answer is.....if you chopped down the money tree I guess the place would just get crazier.
