Renewing MEP and MEIR
Hi
Does anyone know if it is necessary to renew a MEP and MEIR before applying for Airline jobs? Both have recently lapsed and the cost of renewal is'nt cheap. However, I don't want to be caught out if a job interview came along which required the ratings to be already valid. Also can you renew your MEIR without having a valid multi engine rating? Since you would be doing a type rating anyway if you got a job; is it necesary to have an MEP?
