Aus Flying schools

Ripanrocks, to fly for a major airline I would have to recommend you get a CASA CPL/MECIR, Australian trained pilots are among the best in the world, and this is evident in that Qantas has never lost a jet aircraft to a crash a feat no other airline in the world can boast, CASA is also ICAO approved meaning it is very easy to convert or be recognised anywhere in the world.
I suggest some very good schools in Australia:
Sydney Flight Training Centre
Learn to Fly - Professional Pilot Training with Aerospace Aviation Bankstown, Sydney, Australia
Learn to fly or hire an aircraft with Sydney's biggest and most professional flying college - Basair Aviation College
I wouldn't bother going to the USA to get license,
Australia is closer to India, has better training and if you want to fly in US later, it's very easy to convert Australian CASA to FAA
