And you forgot to add at the bottom of a valley in a place where there are lots of valleys.
Took a TP across vfr from Hum to the wesgt coast a couple of years ago. Plugged it into the GPS got all the RNAV set up to confirm it and still couldn't see it.
I presume it was invented when there was something special there. Mind you its an aid to air safety, at least everyone is spread apart abit unlike the battle of Britain over Eccup with everyone at the same level.
