No there is no IF flight in Maun yes you may have to use your A/H a few times during the rains but otherwise it is not required as the weather in Maun for the best part of the year is non existent.
As for calling all pilots with just a cpl a glorified ppl, well that's the sort of arrogance I would only expect from a bone head. I know a guy with 33,000hrs and no instrument rating is he a glorified PPL.
