Without seeing specific statistics on this, highly unlikely. If it is true then perhaps Skyguide maintains high standards and expectations, and are not prepared to compromise those standards just to increase qualification rates.

The graduation rate from the 12 month "rating" courses was very high, what happens with qualifying during operational on-job training is beyond the control of the training school.

I rented a 3 1/2 zimmer apartment in Oerlikon, about 10 minutes from the Zurich HB, SFr 2200.00 per month. In that area, at todays rates, I would expect a 3 bedroom (4-4 1/2 zim) to be closer to 3000 / month, if you are closer to Zurich you pay more, further away (Dubendorf etc) expect to pay less.

Again, it is a very good opportunity if you enjoy instructing
