EGNH - i see your location is leeds. have you not thought about doing the KLM lba - ams service, travelling from your local airport?
admittedly, the DL man - jfk or CO man - ewr direct services are quicker, if you are interested in aviation and enjoy flying, i think i too would look to maximise the number of flights availble too.
