Curiously, and by almost complete coincidence, I came across this thread just after posting (several times) on
this forum on a related point (my handle over there is "Observer"). I think this is a real worry and I wish I could feel it is more widely recognised in the air travel industry. Anyway, I hope you guys (commercial pilots) appreciate that some of the SLF you carry have some understanding of your concerns.
