Was there any useful BASSA advice, to the members, about what to do when it all goes Pete Tong?
Some advice, Yes

Useful - I doubt it

I'm not even sure if it's correct or not?

If BA impose anything that breaches the WA agreement we have a right to say that you will not fly due to contract signed in agreement and BA are in breach of that contract!

Crewinglevel on Ww is contractual if BA impose anything that imposes breech of contrac you can refuse. So Ww csd can refuse to go If crewing level imposed.
