Is it just me, but are designers losing their imagination? Most interesting aircraft or the most innovative engineering solutions seem to have been designed before the end of the 'sixties?
People still gasp at Concorde decades later (as evidenced in this thread), but don't forget others such as Spitfire, Harrier, Hunter, Jetranger, TSR2, 747, Apollo moon missions etc
Now we just have boring airliners, a bridge that wobbles and the Millenium Dome...
