Hi All,

Just got back from my assessment for the FTE / Flybe MAPS phase 3 in Exeter, and as expected it was pretty tough The whole selection process lasted about 5 hours and I was absolutely knackered by the end of it!

First of all there's 4 written tests to do including numeracy, numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and maths and physics. After that there's an interview with a lady called Alison Sanger from FTE. She's really nice and puts you at ease on what is a very stressful day.

Finally, theres 4 pilapt tests to do on a laptop using a joystick and a keypad. This is the hardest part of the day I think.

To be honest I don't think I did well enough to get through to phase 4. There are 30 applicants in total through to phase 3 and only 6 places on the course.

Good luck to anyone who has their assessments Monday and Tuesday!
